Dr. Sunil Kumar Singh is a visionary R&D leader with over three decades of pioneering experience in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and specialty chemical innovation. He joined Heranba Industries Ltd. in 2023 to spearhead the strategic development and global commercialization of next-generation crop protection solutions. A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with post-doctoral research at CNRS, France, Dr. Singh has held senior R&D leadership roles at prominent organizations including Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., Nicolas Piramal Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., Glenmark Generics Ltd., Atul Ltd., Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd., Indofil Industries Ltd. and Nagarjuna Agrochemicals Ltd. Under his guidance, numerous key active ingredients have been successfully developed, scaled-up, and registered worldwide. An advocate of sustainable science, he is renowned for implementing cost-effective, environmentally conscious processes aligned with zero-liquid-discharge manufacturing. A prolific contributor to the scientific community, Dr. Singh holds more than 30 patents and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications. He is now leading the establishment of Heranba’s state-of-the-art R&D center, fostering global collaborations and driving the pipeline of future-ready agrochemical innovations.
